November gave us a little bit of everything at Skydive Sebastian. The weather showed up, the community showed out, and the DZ felt like the kind of place where great jumps and great people stack up fast. Whether you’re here every weekend or just dropped in for a few days, last month had a lot to celebrate.
Here’s a quick run through the wins, the moments, and what’s coming next as we head into December.
Throwback to November
Milestones Worth a High-Five (and Pie)
We had some serious numbers hit the board this month, and that deserves a proper shoutout.
• Mike hit 2,000 jumps.
That’s a ton of sky time, a ton of experience, and a ton of commitment to the sport. Congrats, Mike. You’ve earned every one of those logs.
• Miles earned his A license.
Welcome to the fun side of the fence. You’ve got unlimited opportunities now, and we’re stoked to see where you take it.
• Gus hit 400 jumps, Erica hit 500.
You two keep progressing and bringing solid energy to the DZ. We love milestone pies, but we love watching you grow in the sport even more.
Boo at the Zoo
“Boo at the Zoo” was a full-on good time. The costumes were on point, the Zoo Bar was buzzing, and the vibe felt like the perfect mix of Florida fall and Sebastian style. If you missed it, we’ll take your costume game next round. No excuses.
“Sky Jam” Veterans Day Weekend
Veterans Day weekend brought “Sky Jam,” and Bobby Hernandez captured some great highlights from the event. Strong jumps, good people, and a lot of respect in the air and on the ground. Here’s the recap.
Friendsgiving at the Zoo Bar
Friendsgiving was one of those days that hits you right in the feels without getting cheesy about it. We got to celebrate the family we choose, skydivers, friends, and everyone who helps make this place feel like home.
Big shoutout to Neil and Terri for stepping into ownership of the Zoo Bar. Their first Friendsgiving as the new owners was a hit, and you can already feel their passion and love for the DZ community. We’re grateful they’re here and building something awesome alongside all of us.

Thanks to everyone who showed up with full plates and full stoke. Here’s to more years of good food, good jumps, and the best drop zone family around.

Featured Google Review (November)
We’re highlighting a standout Google review from November in the newsletter.
I jumped tandem with Ian! He was knowledgeable and had many years of experience! The view was beautiful and it was a great experience! – Joshua Lancaster
